When browsing through a few articles and sources that deal with sexual health, it is easy to believe that men are lucky and that they sometimes suffer from nothing worse than erectile dysfunction; a condition that can be addressed in several different and effective ways. The truth is much different. Men often suffer from a variety of debilitating sexual dysfunctions, including lack of penis size, erectile problems, and premature ejaculation. One of the most widespread problems, however, is Peyronie’s disease and penis curvature, with approximately one in every hundred men suffering from either or both of these maladies. As is the case in most instances of sexual dysfunction, few men feel comfortable to talk about it and many men that suffer from these problems are not even aware that they suffer from a treatable condition.

The terms Peyronie’s disease and penile curvature are often used in an interchangeable way, but this is not correct since the two conditions are quite different from each other. While it is true that somebody that suffers from Peyronie’s disease can develop penile curvature, the opposite is not necessarily true. So, what are the differences? There are no two men with identical penises. They come in all shapes and sizes and it would be irresponsible to try and define exactly what “normal” is. Many men have penises that are not perfectly straight when erect; they may bend to the left or right, or even upwards or downwards. In some cases, penises can bend sideways and vertically. In most cases, this so-called anomaly does not pose any problems during intercourse, but if the penis is bent severely, it may make things difficult. This bending of the penis is called penis curvature. It is not a medical condition, but it may be the result of a variety of other disorders usually associated with the urinary tract. Under ordinary circumstances, penis curvature does not cause undue pain or discomfort. But it can cause discomfort during intercourse and in severe cases it can make intercourse very difficult for both partners.

Peyronie’s disease, however, is a totally different matter. It is a medical condition and can develop at any time. This disorder involves the development of fibrous growths in the soft tissue of the penis. Scar tissue often forms in the thick casing surrounding the urinary tract and this can cause a variety of symptoms, including severe pain, erectile dysfunction, difficulty having intercourse, loss of length and girth and, of course, abnormal bending of the penis. Not much is known about the causes of Peyronie’s disease, although it can generally be attributed to some form of injury to the penis that causes small blood vessels to rupture. This can happen during intercourse, as a result of an accident, or during strenuous athletic activities. The scar tissue then forms during the natural healing process. In many cases, however, the disease develops slowly, over time, and specialists are still not certain what the causes in such cases are. Studies have been undertaken to investigate the link between Peyronie’s disease and hereditary factors and even immune deficiency disorders.

Regardless of the specific nature of the malady, several treatment options are available. Penile injections, grafts, supplements and even surgery can be considered, although the prognosis is not always good. When erectile dysfunction, difficulties during intercourse, and a diminished girth and length of the penis is caused by either Peyronie’s disease or penile curvature, simply treating the symptoms is not the answer. If the penis can be straightened, many of these unpleasant side effects can be eliminated. A variety of medicines taken orally or administered by means of injection have been tried, but the results are notoriously unpredictable, if not downright discouraging. Surgery is considered only as a very last resort and because the penis is brimful of nerve ends and veins, the procedure is delicate and can have permanent negative results.

The good news is that several authoritative clinical studies have shown that a penis extender can be used very successfully in the treatment of both penis curvature and Peyronie’s disease. The penis extender acts very much like the braces young people wear to straighten their teeth. Reputable products, such as the Quick Extender Pro are commonly prescribed by physicians that have studied the results of several clinical trials that involve a variety of remedies. Penis extenders have been found to be safe when used according to the simple instructions that accompany the product. The product can be used without a doctor’s prescription, but it may be wise to consult a specialist if the penis is painful or sensitive, especially during erection.

The Quick Extender Pro has been proven to be a safe way in which a bent penis can gradually be coaxed to a straight position. Based on the science of penis traction and Newton’s Law of physics, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, the penis extender will apply an opposing force to counter the existing curvature.  The process is gradual and the instructions are easy to follow. The product can be ordered online, discretely and safely. The fact remains that penile curvature and Peyronie’s disease can have a severe negative impact upon the ability of a couple to enjoy a rich, fulfilling sex life while men are often self-conscious about the way their penises look. Using a Quick Extender Pro can certainly do much to correct the situation in a safe, private way.
